Glenn's career as an artist, musician and entrepreneurial
businessman has taken him from California through 22 countries around the
world. He finally settled in Hawaii where the brilliant colors, both of the
days and nights, of the Pacific Islands indelibly infiltrated Glenn's
artistic style.
While in Hawaii, Glenn took his artistic, creative talents
to various horizons. He designed and developed patents for two innovative
products: StayStilts tm and the SuperSoaper tm. He formed an agency
representing entertainers and athletes, even hosted a live radio talk show
interviewing celebrity artists. From 1971 until 1994, Glenn practiced his
unique art form. He sold originals, limited edition prints and merchandise
adorned with his art from numerous galleries and stores. He even had his
own store "The Art Cove" in Honolulu.
His art hangs in numerous homes and businesses. It has
also been used on the set of a weekly TV show. Glenn has been selected in
numerous juried art exhibitions in Hawaii, San Francisco and Seattle. On
one occasion, at the prestigious Honolulu Academy of Art, the juror was
James Demetrian. At the time, Demetrian was the Director of the Hirshhorn
Museum of Modern Art of the Smithsonian Institute.
Since moving to Edmonds, Washington in 1994, Glenn now
captures the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with his bright, light-hearted
painting style.
